Rosicrucian Resources.
This site is dedicated to serving as a general resource for students and practitioners of the Western Hermetic Tradition, and as a specific resource for the Alexandrine Temple of the Hermetic Fellowship, located in Portland, Oregon, USA.

This list is provided as an informational resource. Though some truly fine organizations and resources are listed here, not all that are listed are well known to the Hermetic Fellowship. Therefore, the appearance of a group or other resource in this listing does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by the Hermetic Fellowship. Aincient Mystical Order Rosæ Crucis
The Rosicrucian organization founded by H. Spencer Lewis, with its HQ in San Jose, CA. This is the venerable old Order (better known by its acronym AMORC) whose tireless self-promotion has made the term ‘Rosicrucian’ part of common knowledge in the modern Western world. I first encountered them 50 years ago or so in the back of a comic book in their “What did Benjamin Franklin know that you don't know?” ad.

Admission is limited to Master Masons who are subscribing members of a Lodge under the Grand Lodge of England or a jurisdiction in amity with Grand Lodge and who accept and believe in the fundamental principles of the Trinitarian Christian faith.”

Societas Rosicruciana in America
“The SRIA is the American organization formed by properly qualified initiates to propagate the Ancient Wisdom Teachings in the western world. We are a sovereign, independent Rosicrucian Order, dedicated to the teachings of Rosicrucianism. Our organization is also known as the Society of Rosicrucians, Inc. and as the Most Holy Order of the Ruby Rose and Golden Cross (RR et AC), and is part of the world-wide, age-old Rosicrucian movement.Our Order was founded in 1907 by Sylvester C. Gould and George Winslow Plummer, both prominent freemasons and Rosicrucians. After Gould's death in 1909, Plummer assumed leadership of the Society and immediately set about the reconstituting the Society, based upon the broadest, non-Judgmental principles of the Rosicrucian Art which would be open to all true seekers.”

Rosicrucian Fellowship
The Rosicrucian organization founded by Max Heindel. “The Rosicrucian Fellowship is composed of men and women who study the Rosicrucian Philosophy known as the Western Wisdom Teachings as presented in The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception. This Christian Mystic Philosophy presents deep insights into the Christian Mysteries and establishes a meeting ground for Art, Religion, and Science. Max Heindel was selected by the Elder Brothers of the Rose Cross to publicly give out the Western Wisdom Teachings in order to help prepare mankind for the coming age of Universal Brotherhood, the Age of Aquarius. The work of the Rosicrucian Fellowship is to spread the gospel and heal the sick.”

Fraternitas Rosæ Crucis
The organization generally agreed to have been founded by R. Swinburne Clymer. However, Clymer claimed to be continuing an order founded by P.B. Randolph. “Welcome to the authentic Rosicrucian Fraternity that was first instituted in Germany in 1614. This Fraternity brought together into one organization the various associations of individuals previously known as the Hermetists, Pythagoreans, Magi, Platonists, Gnostics, Alchemists, and Paracelsians.”
